Although Juneteenth did not become federally recognized until 2021, as a tradition of their own - for many years, Jerry Young and Terry Gould of Tri City H.O.P.E have honored the journey and revolutionary acts of those who went before us with HOPE for a liberated life in truth and power for ALL in 1865. These celebrations spread awareness, promote solidarity and focalize the power in commUNITY; May the energy of rEVOLution continue to guide us on our journeys.
